Two days before her second birthday Keziah began saying the Lord's Prayer on her own. It is our bedtime routine to read books and then say the Lord's Prayer and then give kisses. I guess the repetition paid off, and nothing could bring more joy to this mother's heart than to hear my daughter reciting scripture.

First Garden Attempt
5 weeks post planting this is what our little garden looks like. We decided to smart small and just plant 4 different things, but even a small garden takes a good bit of weeding time. So far the corn and the pumpkins are going crazy. For our future reference the pumpkins probably need more space. And the peas and carrots may or may not make it. We'll see. Even a small harvest would be fun for Keziah to see and for us to eat. As it is we have a cherry tomato plant on which she loves to look for red tomatoes each and every morning, and then promptly pops in her mouth to eat!
The pumpkins are taking over....

Gator and Friends
Last weekend we went with the Jerz and Kopke families to Gator and Friends. There are about 200 alligators there as well as many other zoo animals that the kids can feed. Several times a day they feed the alligators and they also let the kids hold a baby alligator. Needless to say the kids had a blast, and it was fun for me too!

Celebrating 2 years of life
This past weekend we had a Sesame Street themed birthday party for Keziah. Though it is still two weeks until her official birthday, we wanted Zach to be with us for the party. It was a thrill to watch Keziah enjoy each and every aspect of her party. I'm not sure if she will remember it or not, but it will live on through pictures.
LOVING Burt and Ernie
