New York City Trip

Last week Zach and I were able to take a five day vacation together to New York City.  We dropped Keziah off with GranJan and PaPa, and had a great time just the two of us!  It was good timing as well because Zach is deploying this Sunday to Alaska and then Guam for close to 3 months.   We got to do and see so much in NYC including a Yankees Game, Lion King and Wicked on Broadway, Central Park, Museum of Natural History and some good hangout time with Paul as well as catching up with Heather and Jay White.  We had fantastic weather and probably the part we enjoyed the most was sleeping in every morning.  =)

Barksdale Air Show

This past weekend we got to go to the air show on base.  Besides being an extremely muggy day, we had a wonderful time.  There were so many planes to see and so much for me to learn.  My favorite shows are always the little acrobatic planes that spin and stall and fall in the sky.  Zach's favorite was the Blue Angels show and it was his first time to see them perform.  Keziah's favorite was the very steep inflatable airplane slide.
