Hot Springs National Park

This past weekend we were able to enjoy a camping trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas.  The weather couldn't be beat, and the terrain was green and lush.  We had a great time cooking our outdoor meals, hiking, reading, and getting some ice cream.  Thankfully Keziah is a great little camper and sleeps well in her pack-n-play in the tent.

Oh Boy!

We are so excited to announce that we are having a baby boy on October 6th!  At only 16 weeks, we got to take a sneak peak through an ultrasound and since he was cooperating, the Dr. helped us see that we are going to have a boy.  Keziah seems to know that there is a baby in mommy's tummy, but probably doesn't have a clue of the changes a baby brother will bring to her life.  We are just praising God for this new life He is forming.

Hidden Oak Farms

While Paul was in town visiting, we took Keziah to the zoo/petting zoo and met the Kopke's there as well.  She thoroughly enjoyed feeding and seeing all the animals as did we all.   She really too to the twin baby goats, Ebony and Ivory, and wanted to give all her food to them.

Uncle Paul comes to visit

What a privilege it was to have Paul visit us from NYC for a few days.   It was nice just to hang out and talk and share meals together.  Uncle Paul was a huge hit with Keziah too.  They watched and sang the Wiggles, jumped on the trampoline, read books, played gymnastics, went for walks and much more.  There is a new bond to be sure, and such sweet memories as well!
