5 weeks post planting this is what our little garden looks like. We decided to smart small and just plant 4 different things, but even a small garden takes a good bit of weeding time. So far the corn and the pumpkins are going crazy. For our future reference the pumpkins probably need more space. And the peas and carrots may or may not make it. We'll see. Even a small harvest would be fun for Keziah to see and for us to eat. As it is we have a cherry tomato plant on which she loves to look for red tomatoes each and every morning, and then promptly pops in her mouth to eat!
The pumpkins are taking over....

Wonderful! I didn't know you were doing a garden. What a neat thing for Keziah to experience! I put grass clippings on the ground between the plants to keep the weeds down plus it makes it be able to go longer between waterings. We just got our first baby zucchinis yesterday!
Wow! You are gardening! I am in awe! It makes me grin to think of Keziah looking for tomatoes and popping them in her mouth.
