Playing Mommy

It's hard for me to believe that at 19 months old Keziah likes to play Mommy to her baby. (which is my cabbage patch kid from when I was a kid) I bought her a baby bottle at Walmart the other day and it was the best investment I've made in a long time! As soon as we got home she went and sat in her rocking chair and fed the baby.... and fed the baby..... and fed the baby. She sat there for 20 minutes at a time! Seriously, nothing has ever kept Keziah still for that long. After the shock wore off I finally got some video footage of it.

When I ask her if she can show me how she feeds the baby, I think she is reminding me to say please, but then agrees after I don't get it. ha!

For interpretation in this one, listen closely to her sing the words to the song right after they say them. For example, the first one she sings is "worship you" and then you can hear her say "love you" later on. You can also hear her say "excuse you" after she coughs, which is her version of excuse me. =)

And now she takes the baby to bed.
