The Santa Experience

Well, at 18 months old, Keziah is not a Santa fan. Last year she did so well just sitting on his lap and looking sweet for the picture. This year, even bribed with candy cane, she would have nothing to do with Santa's lap. Better luck next year!

Dressed up and ready to go!

As they get older, Aidan and Keziah are getting along better and better.

See how well Aidan and Avangeline did?

Poor Santa, how much crying do you think he had to deal with in one day?

The Space Shuttle Endeavour

During the Endeavour's recent (post landing) cross country trip home it had a layover at Barksdale Airforce Base.  Zach and I were able to stop by and see it the night of his squadron Christmas party.  It was a pretty glorious sight to behold.

No lack of animation

One might think it would be difficult to get a picture of your child with so many varied and expressive faces.  However, when your child is making them continually, it is really not so difficult.  Thus a series of pictures from when my family was down visiting in early December for my Dad's 60th birthday.

Keziah's early Christmas gift from GranJan and Pa Pa, a kitchen cabinet with dishes just her size.  She loved it of course!

Thanksgiving in Washington - Part 3

One day while in Washington we went with Grami and Arthur to feed the birds, ducks and geese.  Upon arriving we received a warm welcome...

It's a good thing we brought a lot of bread because there were many mouths to feed

Grami enjoyed throwing the bread up for the birds to catch mid-air, which they did with ease.

Keziah was a little intimidated at first by the encroaching mob, but soon adjusted

Ahem!  Feeding the ducks.... the ducks

Oh no Dad, guess who thought that was a good idea

"You want this bread?..... ha!"

"Okay, okay, I'll share a little"

Thanksgiving in Washington - Part 1

Over the week of Thanksgiving we got to go up to Washington to spend time with the extended Miller family.   Besides getting to see everyone, my favorite part was watching Keziah interact with all of her relatives in a unique way.  It was so great to have all of Zach's family together, and though I cannot record all of the memories here, I will share those captured on camera.

Depsite very cold temperatures, Keziah is able to coax dad into jumping on the "'bline 'bline"

Due to her great love of music, Keziah enjoys the frequent playing of instruments that happens at the Miller house.

Auntie Annie becomes a favorite right away when she sets up a pillow game for Keziah on her bed.  It goes:
1) sit on the pillows by the headboard
2) jump up
3) fall forward into the other pillows
4) Repeat over and over and over and over and over.......

Uncle Paul and Keziah share a special relationship that can really only be described through pictures:

Many ping pong games were played, and few that George, the cat didn't get involved in.  Keziah also tried her hand at ping pong with Dad's help.
